My Current Obsession: Pickle Lemonade

Recently while scrolling on social media I came upon several creators talking about pickle lemonade and as a lover of all things pickled I was intrigued. The best thing about pickle lemonade is it has a little extra sour twang without tasting much like pickle at all and the pickle juice helps with hydration due to the salty brine. It's quick and easy to make and requires only a few ingredients you likely already have. Here's how to make it:
1. Grab a quart jar with lid.
2. Cut up 1 lemon into 4 pieces and add it to the jar. If the lemon is cold it helps to microwave it for about 15 seconds then roll on a hard surface to help release the juices.
3. Add 2 tablespoons of cane sugar then muddle the lemon and sugar until the lemon has released a good amount of it's juice. (I don't have a muddler so I use the end of a rolling pin, we use what we have!)
4. Add 2 tablespoons of grillos pickle juice.
5. Add your desired amount of ice and cold water, screw on the lid and then shake like crazy!
Now you have a refreshing summer beverage!
